Statement of Faith  

    I believe that :

• Jesus died upon the cross as a sacrifice for the forgiveness of all mankind's sins.  See Heb 10:10, 1Pet 2:24, Col 1:19-20, 1Tim 2:6.

 
• Jesus did rise from the dead on the third day in the flesh and was seen by many.  See 1Cor 15:4-6, Lk 24:39.

 
• Jesus ascended into heaven in the clouds and will return the same way.  See Acts 1:9-11.

 
• By accepting Jesus as your Lord and your God, and giving your whole life to Him, He will give you eternal life.  See Jn 3:16, 6:40, 1Tim 1:16, Mk 8:35 with Jn 12:25.

 
• If you do not wish to accept Jesus as your Lord God and Saviour then you will spend eternity in punishment.  See 2Thess 1:8-9, Jude :7, Rev 20:10+15.

 
• Jesus is the only way to the Father.  See Jn 14:6.

 
• Salvation is by faith not by works.  See Eph 2:8-9, Jas 2:26.

 
• The Father is God, the Son is God and the Holy Spirit is God, and there is only ONE God.  See Rom 3:30, 9:5, 1Cor 8:6, 12:1-11 Col 2:9, Titus 2:13, Heb 1:8, 2:4, Acts 5:3-4, Jn 1:1, 10:30, 20:28.

 
• The Earth was created by God in 6 days about 6,000 years ago and that the Earth does not orbit the Sun as the Earth was created on day one and the Sun was created on day four, so the Earth existed for three days before the Sun was made. This also means that the Earth does not need to be a sphere.  See Gen 1, Ex 20:11,
  Ex 31:17.
