Continuing our ongoing  investigation in to the Biblical  fulfilment of Revelation 13:16.  We have been following the development of various technologies, over many years, which this author believes will one day be used in conjunction with the same.  This topic was covered in some depth in my book “Pandora’s Box The World in Bondage” 1997 Chapter Eight (The Rise of The Mark).  In that chapter I asserted that it was my belief that the (now) commonly referred to, so called, “Smart Card” would probably be a technological stepping stone in this area.
The “Smart Card” is no less than a tiny computer embedded into a common sized plastic card (credit card size).  The actual  computer chip  in this card is very small, about 1.5mm by 2mm by .5mm.  Yet it has many uses including:
  • Electronic Wallet
  • Identification (ID)
  • Credit & Debit
  • Driving & Passport
  • Personal information
  •           We could list many other uses but these are the main ones.  I wrote that this type of computer chip would one day be removed from the smart card and incorporated into tags and ultimately into implants for people.  These  we could call  transitional stages.  It is not that a viable implant was not ready it was and is, it is the  fact that people are not.  We can now show  you a more publicly acceptable computer device (chip) which is now in use.
From Dallas Semiconductors Corp. comes the iButton.  What is an iButton ?
The iButton is tiny computer chip housed inside a stainless container.  It can be worn everyday like a ring or in  a watch  or even a key ring (see Fig1-2&3).  The ibutton can communicate with many different types of equipment i.e.  a home computer; vending machines; parking meters; petrol pumps; keys to cash vaults; cash registers;  medical bracelets  (Fig4)  and to start a car  (Fig 5).
Personal ID is of interest, it shows us again
the gradual  move towards using computer ID on people.
Once again I make it clear that companies like Dallas Semiconductors Corp. and others do not know what the fruits of their labour may one day be used for, to this we must see their intentions as non other than innocent.  I find these innovations really very interesting and of no threat in themselves.  It is what it maybe  leading to that is of importance and the one, namely the Antichrist, who will put it to use in his inevitable way in the days ahead of us.
As we are moved ever more towards a global cashless society  and with the possible threat of a global recession induced by a market collapse (watch Japan). We may see the need for an emergency form of currency in the near future.  It may be presented to us  that it would be far better to use electronic cash on a temporary basis, until the markets stabilize. The alternative is to print lots of extra cash which would be costly and impractical.  For more information on the iButton check out iButton Products
