Church of England will have Apostatised

ON FRIDAY 28TH FEBRUARY 2003, there was a Forward in Faith Area Assembly. There were two very important reports from the General Synod and from a Forward in Faith Priest on the (shadow) working party on women in the Episcopate.

From what was said, it is clear that the Church of England as we knew it prior to 1992, no longer exists, and can never be retrieved. We are, therefore, as a result, more committed than ever to the need of a "Third" Province within the general framework of the Church as a whole. Once a woman is made a Bishop (which is now bound to happen probably before 2008, the date of the next Lambeth Conference), the Church of England will have Apostatised, and will no longer have a valid "Catholic" ministry and priesthood. If we believe a woman cannot exist as a Priest, she certainly cannot exist as a Bishop, and any person ordained by such will have invalid orders. This is something you all need to consider for the future.
